Since May 2020, we have been collecting and upcycling pre-operation medical waste, a material called polypropylene. Recognized by the CDC and recently critiqued by CNN Health, University of Florida and countless reputable organizations to be an extremely effective mask making material. SMS polypropylene is used in the production of N95 masks, and gives the wearer peace of mind, knowing that the lining of our masks has a BFE (bacterial filtration efficacy) of 95-98%.
