Slim Fit Waistcoat
Coming Soon…
Waistcoats with standard sizes between 34-50 sizes, and custom options available as well.
Made To Measure waistcoats need 3 measurements, easily taken at home. Here are two options for taking measurements in under 5 minutes.
Option 1: Measure an existing garment:
Lay out a garment flat on a solid surface. Button all buttons.
Measure across the front of the chest, just under the armpits.
Measure across the front of the waist.
Flip the garment over and measure the height, from top to bottom.
Option 2: Take body measurements:
Follow these instructions, and never measure yourself, always have a friend measure you, for accuracy’s sake.
1. Length around Chest
Measure around the chest, just underneath armpits. Add an additional 2 fingers between tape measurer and body when measuring. Make sure the clients arms are resting comfortably (do not flex, hold breathe or raise arms, just relax).
2. Length around Waist
Measure around waist at bellybutton. Add two fingers between tape measurer and body. Do not measure at belt line. It may make ya feel more flattered to have that slimmer number, but I guarantee your garment will not fit, if you have measured where your pants sit. We’re looking for the widest part around your waist, not the slimmest.
Rarely will the measurement exceed the chest measurement
3. Height of Torso
Measure from center of belt, at the client’s back, up to base of the neck.
Rarely will you measure outside the range of 21 - 25 inches.
Your final options for taking measurements are to email us at bowshoeshoe@gmail.com to schedule a personal or virtual fitting.
