The company was founded deep in the Drakensberg Mountains, in a village called Thoteng. 40 kilometers from the nearest tar road, Thoteng has no electricity or running water, and the challenges of village politics, unreliable transportation, health and security risks. Villages like Thoteng aren't on any maps, have dilapidated educational and health facilities. These are the places we do our work.
